Information You Submit
When you enter a name, phone number, or address in a search form, that input goes to the outside provider responsible for the results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of the search. A direct message to us contains only what you decide to send, and we use those details to answer the request.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and access times. We review aggregated data to maintain the service and learn which resources are useful. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How Information Is Used
Those limited records help operate the service, diagnose faults, measure visits, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government systems, Knox and Loudon County offices, Tennessee agencies, library collections, and outside search providers. Information entered after following a link is controlled by that service's privacy terms. Sponsored results are also delivered by a separate company under its own policy.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and technical vendors process logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information already described. We may disclose data in response to valid legal process, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor information.
How We Safeguard Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are kept only for the time needed to meet the purposes stated here. There are no user accounts, passwords, or personal account profiles stored by Farragut People Search.
Visitors Under Age 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal details from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor appears to have supplied such information so it can be removed.

The Tennessee Information Protection Act, Tenn. Code Ann. ยงยง 47-18-3301 et seq., took effect July 1, 2025. When it applies, it may provide rights to confirm processing, access or correct data, request deletion or portability, and opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling. Its coverage thresholds and exemptions mean it does not govern every operator or record. Use the Contact page for a request involving our mailbox or logs. Government records kept by Farragut, Knox County, Loudon County, or Tennessee remain under the custodian's control, and this law does not erase those official files.
